A Canadian Weekend

Mike and I were pretty psyched to host our ashevillIan besties not too long ago. 🥰 If anything can make traveling better, it’s double-date traveling with besties to QUEBEC 😁 RECOMMEND 10/10.

First things first, Canadian food.

The first night we dined at Sapristi.

9/10

Service was so good and the selection was fancy.

Ambiance was super romantic for dinner.

We ordered apps and they were teeny but flavorfully delicious.

Diner portions were heaping and lots of pastas on selection.

They even give you a tiny post card as a souvenir and I loved that little touch!

*server was super honest and accurate with suggestions.

For Burgers I recommend Le Chic Shack.

10/10

The Le Shack burger is bomb in my opinion but my hubs preferred the Le Chic.

Salted Maple Caramel shake was 100% as good as the photos and you should try it.

& The poutine was just ok.

For Breakfast, Cochon Dingue Champlain had tons of options and slightly reminded me of an ihop or denny's, but french.

I recommend the salmon eggs benedict.

Ps, coffee is included with breakfast almost everywhere (even espresso drinks) which is so convenient.

Cosmos had a HUUUUUGE breakfast selection and was really funky inside. Worth a visit if you want OPTIONS.

Crepes at Au Petit are unique crunchy goodness and worth a taste.

Highlights

Right before munching at Cosmos!

Baaaae.

Hotel de Glace.

Ice sculptures are EVERYWHERE. Oh, and christmas trees in every doorway!

DO's!

Buy a ski mask if you're going in winter time.

Stay in Old Quebec so you can be in walking distance to breakfast lunch and dinner.

Do make reservations if you're going to a really popular spot.

Do check out hotel de glace, mainly cause the slide rocks and it's one of the wonder hotels of the world.

Do bring a canada goose, mine almost made me sweat it was that effective.

Buy the thermal socks at TJ MAXX, they really work.

DON'Ts

Makeup and ski masks don't play well together, even your mascara will come off lol.

Don't expect the hotel rooms to be spacious because those photos are VERRRY deceptive lol.

Don't bring cash! Bring a credit card that doesn't charge foreign fees and make your life easy.
